As a student in PCOM’s Biomedical Sciences program, you’ll learn from the same faculty that teach our medical students, take part in medical school-level courses, and experience the same testing methods.
The rigor of our academic program has historically produced students who are well-prepared for med school. We believe strongly in the strength of our MS in Biomedical Science program and students who meet certain criteria will receive a guaranteed interview and may qualify for conditional acceptance into PCOM’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Program.
Gain the core skills and knowledge needed to pursue a professional degree in dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, pharmacy and more. The MS in Biomedical Sciences program also helps students prepare for future studies in health professions programs including nursing, medical laboratory science and physician assistant studies.

PCOM’s Biomedical Sciences program is offered at PCOM (Philadelphia, PA), PCOM Georgia (Suwanee, GA) and PCOM South Georgia (Moultrie, GA). Students meeting academic success criteria have the option to complete an accelerated, one-year program.
Students pursuing the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences degree complete foundation year coursework and then progress to one of several second-year degree concentrations including research, forensic biology and more.
Students who complete the foundation year and elect not to pursue a master of science (MS) degree, may elect to receive a certificate of graduate study.
