The Biomedical Sciences – Professional Track, MS program at PCOM delivers the same
rigorous foundational coursework as the traditional Biomedical Sciences MS program,
but over an extended three-year timeline.
Students take foundational courses in medical microbiology, anatomy, biostatistics,
and scientific communication during the first year. The second year includes physiology,
histology, and molecular biology (MBBM). The final year is dedicated to completing
remaining coursework and electives aligned with individual goals.
The curriculum is designed to support part-time students by distributing course loads
more evenly across terms, with classes held in the evenings to accommodate work and
personal commitments.
