The Advanced Biomedical Studies Concentration, offered at PCOM Georgia, is designed to provide you with exposure to relevant, cutting-edge topical areas in biomedical sciences including genetics, stem cell research, pharmacology and nutritional biochemistry.
REQUEST PROGRAM INFORMATIONAs part of the program, students will complete laboratory practicum coursework designed to validate competency in laboratory techniques. Students will also demonstrate independent research skills through the required completion of a final capstone project.
The Advanced Biomedical Studies Concentration is designed to be completed in two years, but the program offers scheduling flexibility to meet the academic and professional objectives of its students. Before entering the concentration, students must successfully complete the foundation year and obtain approval of the program directors.
