The mission of the Department of Bio-Medical Sciences is to provide our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully pursue various career paths which include osteopathic medicine and biomedical sciences.

Our faculty promotes and provides expert instruction within a learning environment that emphasizes critical reasoning in the basic sciences as it applies to medical, clinical, biotechnological and research applications.

We train and then validate that each student can successfully demonstrate the applications of his or her knowledge and skills in rigorous academic and professional settings. It is this training and validation that sets our program apart, as our students develop a sense of confidence and purpose having experienced growth in a meaningful and personal manner.
