Assistant Director of Admissions Dana Brooks will introduce the institution’s new location to high school and college students across Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
From Albany to Thomasville to Valdosta to Savannah, the Admissions team at PCOM South Georgia in Moultrie will crisscross the South Georgia area and beyond during January and February to introduce high school and college students to PCOM South Georgia. PCOM South Georgia, an additional location of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, will offer the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. The first class of 55 students will matriculate in August of 2019.
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is extending its commitment to the Southeast by establishing PCOM South Georgia, a private, not-for-profit, four-year additional location in Moultrie, Georgia. PCOM South Georgia will focus on educating physicians for the South Georgia region and joins PCOM Georgia in Suwanee in helping to meet the healthcare needs of the state. The developing school has received initial accreditation from the American Osteopathic Association’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation. With a planned opening date of August 2019, PCOM South Georgia will offer the doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree to 55 initial medical students.
