AOA Category 1-A, 1-B, 2-A credits will be granted to DO Physicians and Physician Assistants. The category of credit depends on the educational format of the program. Each course will provide further information regarding the AOA category of credit.

Continuing education offerings for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants will cover a broad range of patient and practice management issues. License renewal requirements differ from state-to-state. Check with the licensing Board for your state to determine if a course meets their requirements.
PCOM’s Department of Psychology courses are approved by the American Psychological Association.
The PsyD and EdS school psychology programs in the Department of Psychology are NASP approved and as such, may offer NASP approved continuing education hours.
PCOM’s Department of Psychology is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program Provider Number: 5672.
PCOM’s Department of Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Pennsylvania Board of Social Work Examiners recognizes and accepts the psychology continuing education hours/credits for social workers. The board requires a minimum duration of two hours per program. After successfully meeting the criteria for earning CE’s, social workers will receive the Certificate of Attendance.
PCOM offers continuing education programs for professionals working in nursing home administration (NHA) and related careers covering changing regulations, new management skills, new procedures for communication, personal growth needs, changing resident needs and environmental settings.
