The Human Anatomy Laboratory at PCOM Georgia is designed to support hands-on, immersive education for future healthcare professionals.
Operated by the Department of Anatomy, the facility serves as a key training site for students in multiple programs.
State-of-the-art audiovisual technology allows students to easily view anatomy demonstrations
and reviews from anywhere in the lab. The lab features 28 fully-equipped dissection
tables and houses a comprehensive collection of plastinated specimens and anatomical
models to facilitate student understanding of human anatomy. Interactive tutorials
and digital resources further support a variety of learning styles. The lab also includes
additional space which can be reserved for educational, medical training or research
events.
Additional features include direct access to student locker rooms, a connected surgical
suite for advanced procedural training, and on-site facilities for PCOM Georgia’s Anatomical Donor Services division—offering students a respectful and meaningful way to study human anatomy through
donor-based education.
