Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Lab
PCOM Georgia

The Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Laboratory at PCOM Georgia is a dedicated instructional space for teaching diagnostic and manipulative techniques used in osteopathic medical practice. Within this space, students in the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program learn to assess and treat patients using the principles of osteopathic philosophy and the body’s natural ability to heal.

The lab features advanced multimedia technology to support effective instruction. A four-camera system—including overhead and under-table cameras, the latter mounted beneath a transparent treatment surface—captures real-time demonstrations from multiple angles. These views are displayed on large projection screens and strategically positioned monitors to ensure clear visibility for all students. In addition, digital slide presentations and 3D animations of joint and spinal motion are incorporated into lessons, providing a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.
