The Controller provides strong leadership to facilitate critical planning for the quality and administration of the College's financial services including: accounting, payroll, budgeting, grants and compliance reporting, external audits, internal financial and compliance audits, internal controls, accounts payable, student accounting, and bursar functions.
The Controller is responsible for the preparation of the PCOM Foundation's consolidated and subsidiary financial statements. In addition, the Controller ensures the development, documentation and accessibility of all policies and procedures supporting the accounting and financial service functions at the institution. Furthermore, the Controller is responsible for ensuring a system of internal controls, monitoring the financial accounting systems to ensure efficient operations by reviewing and analyzing accounting data and management reports to ensure that all information properly reflects the College's financial position and the results of operations.
