This month's faculty highlight features Irandokht N. Khaki, PharmD, MS, assistant professor and patient care simulation coordinator in the Department of
Pharmacy Practice at PCOM Georgia.
I have always wanted to do something that allow me to be in academia and healthcare at the same time. Pharmacy education is a career that allows me to do both stay in health care as well as pursue my dream of teaching.
Research is my passion and my research interest stems from multiple areas. Currently, I am working on non-patient research that focuses on evaluating the compatibility of various antibiotics for simulated Y administration and development of a drug delivery system to deliver Xanthohumol to adipose tissues.
My advice to you is to start early and don’t let your passion for finding your dreamy career die. In order to see if you are truly passionate about a career, take time to:
Pistachio.
