I decided to pursue a residency to gain more knowledge and experience at an accelerated pace while having the opportunity for interprofessional collaboration. I believe a residency will instill personal and professional growth and broaden my clinical decision-making abilities. Completing a post-graduate residency will allow me to practice at the top of my license so that I am able to provide the best care for my patients.
I felt ecstatic and relieved! (Might have even shed a few tears!)
I would advise them to take advantage of every opportunity that is given to them and to put their best effort into everything they do!
I would like to give glory to God and thank all my family, friends, professors and preceptors for being my biggest support system throughout this process.
