Dr. Steven Hickman is a licensed clinical psychologist and a retired associate clinical professor in the U.C. San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Hickman is the founding director of the U.C. San Diego Center for Mindfulness and former executive director of the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, having trained teachers in mindfulness- and compassion-based programs for nearly 20 years. He is currently the chief operating officer of the Global Compassion Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the essential importance of compassion and justice as a foundation of all human societies.

Steven Hickman, PsyD

Dr. Angela Kurzyna is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in integrative health and is cofounder and executive director of Moorestown Integrative Wellness. Dr. Kurzyna has worked for the past decade in hospitals treating the psychological needs of medical patients. She is board certified in biofeedback, certified in clinical hypnosis through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and has completed formal practicum training in mindfulness-based stress reduction.

Dr. Matthew Della Porta is a PhD graduate from the University of California, Riverside and a former student of Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky, the author of The How of Happiness. His research in positive psychology explored the strategies people can use to become happier for a sustained period of time. Using his expertise in health and wellness, Dr. Della Porta assists business professionals in cultivating optimal employee performance, engagement, and organizational health while helping the bottom line.

Matthew Della Porta, PhD

Dr. Marie Sizemore has a background in developmental science (i.e. Child and Family Studies, PhD, and Clinical Psychology, MS) and is an assistant professor in the Center for Population Behavioral Health at IFH and in the Department of Psychiatry at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her current research has focused on adapting a positive psychology intervention for mobile health delivery. She has tailored the PPI content to address the unique needs of sexual minority men living with HIV and comorbid substance use.
