Online Forensic Medicine Pathway Program

PCOM's Forensic Medicine Pathway Program is designed to prepare non-science majors who are interested in forensic medicine and who possess a bachelor’s degree in a forensic-related field to enter the Master of Science in Forensic Medicine program.

The online Forensic Medicine Pathway Program is a summer course covering general biology, human anatomy and physiology. Upon successful completion of the online Pathway Program, students will enter the Master of Science (MS) in Forensic Medicine program beginning the fall semester immediately following.

Please note, the online Forensic Medicine Pathway Program is a preparatory course only—neither a forensic medicine degree nor a certificate is awarded upon completion of the Pathway Program.

Typically, our enrolled Forensic Medicine Pathway Program students have professional backgrounds or undergraduate majors in:

  • Anthropology
  • Business
  • Criminal justice and criminology
  • Education
  • Law practice and law enforcement
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Sociology

To learn more, please complete our online information request form and select "Forensic Medicine" in the "Programs" field. We look forward to speaking with you.
