Pharmacy Students Gain Experience With Electronic Health Records

January 2, 2020

The PCOM School of Pharmacy recently implemented EHR Go, an educational electronic health records (EHR) platform that provides students with a realistic experience in the various steps of the Pharmacist Patient Care Process (PPCP).

EHR Go features virtual patient charts and a variety of patient scenarios. Students review the scenarios and devise a plan of care just as a professional in the field would do. The goal of EHR Go is to give students hands-on experiences that will facilitate safe medication ordering and verification in the field.
