Professors' Work to be Featured in Journal
May 25, 2018Recent PCOM School of Pharmacy faculty accomplishments include:
- Dr. Essie Samuel’s abstract "Assessment of Appropriate Treatment of Staphylococcus Bacteremia" was accepted
for poster presentation at the MAD-ID 2018 Annual Meeting.
- Dr. LeAnne Varner’s abstract "Effectiveness of Treating Prolonged Mechanical Ventilation Related Anxiety
with Atypical Antipsychotics" will be presented at the American Thoracic Society conference,
San Diego, CA, May 2018.
- Drs. S. Reece and H. Parihar’s manuscript "Retrospective Review of Maternal and Fetal Outcomes
in Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in an Indigent Prenatal Clinic" will
appeaser in Diabetes Spectrum in the spring 2018 issue of the journal and accessible online.
