Professors Obtain Board Certification

Two Department of Pharmacy Practice faculty recently obtained board certification. December 2017 faculty accomplishments also include recognition for work on guidelines and providing assistance to a student in need. Congratulations to the following:

Dr. Hua Ling and Dr. Dusty Lisi recently obtained board certification in pharmacotherapy.
Dr. Sonia Thomas assisted with developing guidelines for venous thromboembolism (VTE) with Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).
Dr. Shawn Holaway was interviewed by WAGA news for his assistance in obtaining insulin for a student who had been purchasing the medication on Craigslist.
