Professor, Student Interviewed for Medicine Safety Article

February 2018 School of Pharmacy faculty accomplishments include:

• Dr. Mandy Reece and Lauren Avery, PharmD 2018 candidate, were interviewed for article titled, "Diabetes: How to Safely Take OTC Medicines for Cold or Flu" found on Blackdoctor.org.
• Dr. Hua Ling and Dr. Jayden Lee’s abstract titled, "Effect of Ezetimibe Added to High-Intensity Statin Therapy in Patients with Hypercholesterolemia: A Meta-Analysis"; has been accepted by AHA QCOR 2018 Scientific Sessions. It will be presented in April in Arlington, VA and published in Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes.
  
• Dr. Kumar Mukherjee’s article titled, "Cost-effectiveness and Budget Impact of Lumacaftor/Ivacaftor (Orkambi) in the Treatment of Cystic Fibrosis" accepted for publication in the Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP). Dr. Mukherjee was one of the advisors on an MS thesis project.
