Pharmacy Practice Faculty Published in U.S. Pharmacist

Three Department of Pharmacy Practice faculty were published in a leading pharmacy journal, another served as featured speaker at preceptor development seminar:

• Dr. Sonia Thomas’ publication, "Chemotherapy Agents that Cause Cardiotoxicity" is in the September 2017 edition of U.S. Pharmacist. Dr. Thomas also conducted a webinar on the topic for GSHP, October 12, 2017.
• Dr. Dusty Lisi was the main speaker at this year’s Preceptor Development Seminar at Mercer University on September 29, 2017. Topic: "Moving Students and Resident Learning Forward through the Pharmacists’ Patient Care."
• Drs. Essie Samuel and Jayden Lee’s publication, "Sodium-Glucose Cotransporter 2 Inhibitors," is in October 2017 edition of U.S. Pharmacist.
• Also, Dr. Essie Samuel’s publication, "Managing Chronic Pain: A Review of the CDC Guidelines," is in October 2017 edition of U.S. Pharmacist.
