Why did you choose a career in pharmacy education?

I completed my residency training with UGA, and it had a strong academic component. I appreciated the various roles that fall under the job of a pharmacy practice faculty member, including patient care, teaching, scholarship and service.

What advice do you have for a person considering a career in pharmacy?

My advice would be to do your research into all the different career opportunities that are available within pharmacy. There are many areas of clinical services within pharmacy that are rapidly growing, which means there are great opportunities for those who are actively looking and preparing for them.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
