Budget Adjustments 
Office of Financial Aid
                  PCOM students with additional financial need can work with the Financial Aid Office to see if they are eligible for a budget adjustment. If a student's financial aid
                     resources are not met by items that are already part of their cost of attendance (COA), they can request additional funds above their maximum COA through a review process.
                  
                  Special Circumstance Review
                  
                  Complete the Special Circumstance Review form to initiate a review of the elements in your cost of attendance. Special circumstances
                     may include but are not limited to:
                  
                  
                     
                     - Computer purchase
 
                     
                     - Rotation or residency interview travel costs
 
                     
                     - USMLE exam costs
 
                     
                     - Test preparation materials
 
                     
                     - Living expenses above the standard amount
 
                     
                     - Out of pocket medical expenses
 
                     
                     - Childcare costs
 
                     
                     - Health insurance costs
 
                     
                  
                  Our office must ensure that any adjustments made are reasonable and aligned with federal,
                     state and institutional regulations. Students must login to myPCOM's Financial Aid and Billing section and complete the Special Circumstance Review Review form. Students will be required to submit documentation that reflects the additional expenses
                     incurred and proof of payment.
