Campus Hazing Transparency Report
The Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA), enacted on December 23, 2024, amends the Jeane
Clery Campus Safety Act to prioritize the prevention of and transparency about hazing
incidents at colleges and universities.
The term hazing, for purposes of reporting statistics on hazing incidents, means any
intentional, knowing, or reckless act committed by a person (whether individually
or in concert with other persons) against another person or persons regardless of
the willingness of such other person or persons to participate.
The Stop Campus Hazing Act requires all colleges and universities to post a Hazing
Transparency Report (HTR) twice a year and also to include hazing statistics in the
Annual Security and Fire Safety Report beginning in 2026. Hazing prevention programs and tips will be available to students,
faculty and employees. All Pennsylvania and Georgia hazing laws will be followed.
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine will update its Campus Hazing Transparency
Report webpage twice a year or whenever a hazing incident occurs.
Current Reporting Period Status
July 1, 2025 through December 15, 2025 - PCOM reports no hazing incidents at any of its locations (PCOM, PCOM Georgia or
PCOM South Georgia).
