PCOM Georgia Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students will celebrate with friends, family, faculty and administrators as they are presented their pharmacist white coats, recite their professionalism pledge and hear from program chairs and guest speakers. The White Coat Ceremony marks a significant milestone in welcoming students into the pharmacy profession.

About the White Coat

The white coat signifies the transition from student pharmacist to part of a clinical healthcare team. The coat reminds medical students of their duty to practice patient care with humanism and professionalism. It symbolizes competency and integrity, as well as compassion and responsibility in improving health outcomes.
