Faculty from the Department of School Psychology will be sharing insights into their programs and answering any questions you may have about graduate psychology education at PCOM during a virtual information session on Tuesday, July 16.
School psychologists utilize their expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to assist children and adolescents in achieving academic, social, behavioral, and emotional success. PCOM's school psychology programs equip graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively apply their expertise in both education and psychology. The EdS program, which is fully accredited, prepares graduates for certification as school psychologists. On the other hand, the PsyD program in School Psychology prepares graduates to work as entry-level health service psychologists, specializing in school psychology.
