Digital Accessibility Conformance
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) works with Allyant, a digital accessibility firm, to independently evaluate the accessibility of pcom.edu.
Accessibility Evaluation
Allyant conducted a live-user accessibility audit of a representative sample of pages on pcom.edu. The evaluation included testing by individuals with disabilities using assistive technologies, together with digital accessibility testing tools.
Following the initial audit and subsequent remediation, Allyant completed quality assurance testing on August 24, 2026. Based on that testing, Allyant reported that:
- Live-user accessibility testers were able to successfully access, use and navigate the website.
- Testers did not encounter accessibility blockers that would prevent users of assistive technology from accessing the website’s main content and functionality.
- The website substantially conforms with Level A and Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
- PCOM addressed all significant accessibility issues within its control that were identified within the scope of the project.
Ongoing Accessibility Testing
PCOM has retained Allyant to provide ongoing accessibility reviews, remediation support and quality assurance testing for selected elements of pcom.edu, including regular live-user testing.
