Awe of people, the heaviness they carry, the grace they exude. And an eternal and intrinsic belief that psychologists have the unique privilege to partner alongside those with a range of profound needs, and the responsibility to provide informed, sensitive, and empowering care. Psychologists recognize the humanity, the dignity, and the self-worth of those with whom we encounter. I cannot think of another career more valuable or better suited for me.
