HALEY JOHNSON, PHARMD
Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Haley Johnson, PharmD '24, is an assistant in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at PCOM School of Pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from PCOM Georgia.

Dr. Johnson teaches in the Patient Care Skills Lab and the Interprofessional Approach to Caring for Communities courses. Her clinical practice is based in the PCOM Philadelphia Family Medicine clinics.

Her professional interests include chronic disease state management and pharmacy practice innovation. She is particularly focused on developing and expanding ambulatory care pharmacy services.

Research

Dr. Johnson’s research centers on ambulatory care and community health. She focuses on how pharmacists can positively impact patient outcomes and enhance quality of care. Current projects include opioid de-prescribing in primary care and expanding the pharmacist’s role in primary care settings.
