The Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) at PCOM's Philadelphia campus recently hosted a 12-hour Continuing Medical Education (CME) course on Ligamentous Articular Strain (LAS) for the Lower Extremities, Pelvis, and Abdomen. Held on April 25–26, 2025, the course was well-attended and served as both a CME opportunity and a faculty development training.

Taught by David Kanze, DO, FAAO, the course guided participants through evaluation and treatment techniques for the lower body using the LAS approach. Dr. Kanze, who trained extensively under LAS co-author Thomas Crow, DO, FAAO, covered key regions including the foot, ankle, knee, hip, pelvis, and abdomen. The course provided value to both newcomers and experienced physicians by offering a comprehensive look at identifying and addressing dysfunctions using LAS.

David B. Fuller, DO, FAAO, FNAOME, served as course director.
