Upper Body Ligamentous Articular Strain (LAS) OMT Course at PCOM April 24 & 25, 2026

The PCOM Philadelphia OMM Department is pleased to host a Ligamentous Articular Strain (LAS) Osteopathic Manipulative
Medicine (OMM) Continuing Medical Education (CME) course on April 24 and 25, 2026.
The 12-hour course will run Friday afternoon and all day Saturday in the OMM Lab at the Philadelphia PCOM campus.
This course will be taught by David Kanze, DO, FAAO, who has trained extensively with
Thomas Crow, DO, FAAO, who is the co-author of the book, Ligamentous Articular Strain: Osteopathic Manipulative Techniques for the Body. The course director is David B. Fuller, DO, FAAO, FNAOME.
This course will be appropriate for physicians new to LAS, as well as refining and
updating techniques for those who have been using LAS for years. The course will include diagnosis
and treatment strategies for the upper half of the body, including the upper extremities,
cervical and thoracic spine, ribs, and abdomen. It will also address the topics of:
"Finding the Key Lesion with Gate", "The Bow String", and "The Eight Diaphragms of
the Body."
