Community Outreach Priorities
Direct patient care services include health screenings, health exams at pop-up clinics,
vaccinations (when available) and other medical services.
Health and wellness education
The CWI provides comprehensive health and wellness education on topics such as heart
health, diabetes, healthy aging, food as medicine and mental well-being, including
stress management and the importance of self-care. Our events offer interactive and
engaging activities tailored to individuals of all ages and learning levels, ensuring
everyone can benefit from the resources provided.
The CWI supports community-based research projects through active involvement from
both faculty and students. Research initiatives include the sponsorship of several
community-based research grants for faculty and students at all three PCOM locations, facilitated by the PCOM Alumni
Association.
