Kerin Fresa, PhD, professor, pathology, microbiology, immunology and forensic medicine and assistant dean, osteopathic curriculum, presented “A Novel Approach to Successful Transitioning from 'Pre-Clinical' to 'Clinical' Training," at the International Association of Medical Science Educators in Lieden, The Netherlands. That discussion was based on a paper co-authored by Arthur Sesso, DO ’81, professor and chair, surgery; Pat Lannutti, DO ’71, professor and chair, general internal medicine; Michael Becker, DO ’87, professor and vice chair, family medicine; and Joseph Kaczmarczyk, DO ’82, assistant dean of clinical education.

Brent Rollins, PhD, assistant professor, pharmacy practice, published “Still the Great Debate –‘Fair Balance’ in Direct-to-Consumer Prescription Drug Advertising Comment on ‘Trouble Spots in Online Direct-to-Consumer Prescription Drug Promotion: A Content Analysis of FDA Warning Letters’’ in the International Journal of Health Policy and Management.
