Wendy W. Romano serves as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. With more than four decades at PCOM, Wendy brings a unique combination of institutional knowledge, strategic perspective and a deep commitment to the College's mission.

As a member of the President's Cabinet, Wendy provides leadership for the College's marketing and communications efforts across its campuses. She leads a multi-campus team responsible for branding, marketing, advertising, media and public relations, executive and internal communications, digital communications, web development, social media, publications and creative services. Her team works to ensure that PCOM's identity, values, and mission are communicated clearly and consistently to students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, patients and community partners.

Wendy works closely with the president and senior leadership on institutional communications, reputation management, crisis communications and initiatives that support the College's strategic goals. Throughout her career, she has helped guide the College through periods of growth, organizational change, and many of its most significant milestones.

Under Wendy's leadership, PCOM's marketing and communications team has earned national recognition for excellence in branding, publications, digital communications, public relations, and marketing from organizations including the Public Relations Society of America, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Educational Advertising Awards, CUPRAP and the University & College Designers Association.

Deeply committed to PCOM's mission, Wendy is passionate about advancing the College's growth, strengthening its reputation and helping position PCOM for success for generations to come.
