JULIE HUSS, DC, MBA
Assistant Director of PCOM Human Anatomy Laboratory
Dr. Julie Huss is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic with over 12 years of clinical
experience. Her passion for human anatomy began during graduate school and ultimately
led her to a career focused on anatomical sciences and education. She also holds a
master's in Business Administration with a concentration on Healthcare Management.
Dr. Huss has contributed to a wide range of projects, including emergency medicine
training, biomedical research, and the preparation of anatomical specimens for academic
and clinical purposes. Some of her most compelling work has involved neuroscience
surgical preparations, spinal cord procurements, and vascular studies. She has also
participated in research examining glenohumeral stability, further demonstrating her
interest in applied anatomical and clinical science.
Currently, she serves as the Executive Secretary of the Humanity Gifts Registry, where
she plays a key role in supporting anatomical donation and education across the state
of Pennsylvania. She also serves as the faculty advisor for the Medicine for Education
student club, mentoring students engaged in community outreach and service-based learning
initiatives. She is also the vice-president of the IESHC at PCOM.
In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Dr. Huss is currently pursuing
a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Organizational Leadership in Higher Education.
This advanced degree reflects her commitment to leadership, institutional development,
and the future of health sciences education.
