The focus of this online session, led by the School of Professional and Applied Psychology on April 23, revolves around Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH).
IBH is a model of care in which behavioral health providers such as clinical mental health counselors, clinical health psychologists, clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists are integrated into medical settings to deliver comprehensive, biopsychosocial care.
The Importance of Integrated Behavioral HealthDuring this session, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of IBH, including locations where it is implemented, the essential skills and knowledge that behavioral health providers should have for integration into IBH settings, and insights into how PCOM is preparing the upcoming generation of behavioral health professionals for IBH.
