VICKY MODY, PHD
Associate Professor

Dr. Mody serves PCOM School of Pharmacy as an associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is primarily involved in teaching biochemistry and medicinal chemistry of infectious disease and therapeutic courses.

Prior to joining PCOM School of Pharmacy, he served South University School of Pharmacy (September 2012 - October 2015) and Appalachian College of Pharmacy (August 2009 - August 2012).

Research

His research is currently focused on multiple areas:

1. Developing thermosensitive polymers for drug delivery,

2. Synthesis of antiviral agents, and

3. Evaluating Y-site compatibility of clinically used drugs.
