THOMAS A. BRABSON, DO, MBA, FACOEP, FACEP

Thomas A. Brabson, DO, MBA, FACOEP, FACEP, medical director, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) City Campus Emergency Center and medical director, ARMC Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

Brabson has served in a number of leadership roles at AtlantiCare. He oversees medical operations of ARMC's City Campus Emergency Center in Atlantic City and medical operations of ARMC's EMS. He is a co-chairman of ARMC's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and is a member of nine other AtlantiCare committees.

Before joining AtlantiCare in 2003, Brabson was a faculty member of the Emergency Medicine Residency program and director of the Division of EMS in the Emergency Department at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has also been an attending emergency physician at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and Graduate Hospital of Philadelphia, City Avenue Campus.

Brabson is an associate professor for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was an assistant professor, Department of Surgery, Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is Board-certified in emergency medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in emergency medical services.

Education

Brabson's Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree is from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He attained his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees at St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Brabson did a Fellowship in emergency medical services and his residency in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He did a rotating internship at St. Joseph's Hospital, also in Philadelphia
