SHIRIN MADZHIDOVA, PHARMD
Associate Professor
Dr. Madzhidova received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. She then completed a post-graduate
year one (PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency at Indian River Medical Center in Vero
Beach, FL where she also obtained a teaching certificate. Following her PGY-1 training
she completed a two-year academic fellowship specializing in pediatric pharmacotherapy
at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy.
Prior to joining the PCOM School of Pharmacy, she served as a clinical assistant professor specializing in pediatrics at Nova
Southeastern University College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Madzhidova’s practice and research interests include pediatric acute and critical
care; complementary and alternative medicine; and pediatric care quality measures.
