Dr. Lannutti was Co-Medical Director of the Diabetic Treatment Center from 1985 to 1989 and Chief of Staff of Metropolitan Hospital's Center Division from 1988 to 1989. Dr. Lannutti has published several articles in respected professional journals, including "Diabetes in Surgery, Infection and Pregnancy," published in the Osteopathic Annals, and "The Role of Hemoglobin A1C in Managing Diabetes" in the Journal of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Lannutti has been a fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and the American College of Physicians. He is affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association and the American Diabetes Association. In 1994 he was honored with the Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching, and was named "Clinical Teacher of the Year" multiple times. Dr. Lannutti received his DO from PCOM in 1971. He was awarded a master of science degree in internal medicine in 1975.

Courses

Dr. Lannutti coordinates the third-year general internal medicine weekly Friday review and has done so for more than 20 years. He has coordinated and facilitated the medicine pre-clinical curriculum for more than five years and stimulated the development of the transition block which was implemented to enhance students' transition into the clinical years and improve board passage rate.
