Dr. Joseph is a professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in the Department of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine.

Board-certified in family medicine with added qualifications in geriatrics, hospice, and palliative medicine, Dr. Joseph is a certified hospice medical director and a certified medical director through the American Medical Directors Association.

In addition, she serves as a medical director for the VNA Hospice of Philadelphia, maintains a clinical practice in PCOM’s Specialty Care Clinic on City Avenue, and provides long-term care to residents at four Philadelphia nursing homes.

Dr. Joseph is passionate about educating new geriatric leaders in a world of widespread shortage.

Education

Dr. Joseph completed her graduate medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM) in Stratford, NJ, where she was recipient of the National Medical Fellowship Award. She completed her Family Practice Residency at UMDNJ-SOM Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ.
