During Dr. Vega's SBH ONMM residency training years, she participated in teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) and Osteopathic Manipulative Techniques (OMT). She supervised rotating medical students in the hospital and in the ambulatory clinic, directed and assisted with OMT table training, conducted podium teaching, graded practical exams, and mentored and advised medical students as needed at her program's affiliated osteopathic medical school, as well as at her alma mater while moonlighting.
