Jill Cunningham brings a clinical background in internal medicine to the program which she gained after five years of practice with Jefferson Medical Care in South Philadelphia. While in practice, Cunningham served as a preceptor to physician assistant students and developed and maintained the office Coumadin clinic in addition to her daily outpatient responsibilities.

Cunningham comes from a diverse background which includes experience in editing and advertising. She also worked as a massage therapist in various settings including fitness facilities, spas and a chiropractic wellness center, before returning to graduate school.

She is a nationally board certified physician assistant and currently licensed to practice as a physician assistant in the state of Pennsylvania. She maintains her clinical practice in the field of internal medicine.


Cunningham is a 2003 graduate of Drexel University's Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from LaSalle University.

She completed a Doctor of Medical Science degree from A. T. Still University in 2022.
