JAMES GARRETT, MPAS, PA-C
Assistant Professor

James Garrett joined the Physician Assistant Program in June of 2019 and is a 2013 graduate of Texas Tech University Health Science’s Master of Physician Studies program.

Mr. Garrett has worked clinically in family practice, emergency medicine and urgent care medicine. Aside from practicing clinically, he has mentored high school and community college students considering a career in medicine. Additionally, he has served as a preceptor for physician assistant and nurse practitioner students.

Mr. Garrett is a nationally board certified physician assistant and licensed to practice medicine in the states of Georgia and Texas. He maintains clinical practice in urgent care medicine.
