CARLY RUGGIERIO, MS, PA-C
Assistant Professor
Carly Ruggierio, MS/PA '19, PA-C, joined the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Physician Assistant program in January of 2026 as an assistant professor. She earned
her bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University, graduating
Summa Cum Laude. Ruggierio is a graduate of the PCOM Physician Assistant Studies program,
Class of 2019.
Ruggierio is a nationally board certified physician assistant and has practiced clinically
for over six years. Her background includes experience in emergency medicine, plastic
and reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic medicine. Aside from her clinical responsibilities,
she previously served the Physician Assistant program as a guest lecturer and skills
lab facilitator. She currently maintains her clinical practice in emergency medicine
and aesthetic medicine and holds a Physician Assistant license in the state of Pennsylvania.
