Our department provides comprehensive surgical instruction and training for our medical students and residents. We use lectures, case-based learning, simulation technologies and clinical experiences to teach the essentials of general surgery.
Department faculty provide instruction to students in several areas related to invasive and non-invasive surgical practices. Our goal is to prepare students for excellence in the practice of osteopathic medicine through the academic programs at PCOM, PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia.
