The Department of Family Medicine trains the physicians of the future. We are committed to providing comprehensive medical care for individuals and families, focusing especially on disadvantaged populations and those who do not have access to primary care physicians. We are involved with all four years of the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine curriculum, providing essential academic and clinical training.
Our goal is to prepare students for excellence in the practice of osteopathic medicine through the academic programs offered at PCOM, PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia.
Our faculty consists of practicing physicians who emphasize a holistic, preventative approach to health care. We provide primary care to underserved populations within Philadelphia, PA and its surrounding neighborhoods.
