Jacquelyn Gerhart, MS, laboratory coordinator, and Mindy George-Weinstein, PhD, professor, bio-medical sciences, published “Neuroprotective effect of Myo/Nog cells in the stressed retina,” in the journal Experimental Eye Research.

Dusty Lisi, PharmD, assistant professor, pharmacy practice, published “Staging and Management of Heart Failure,” in U.S. Pharmacist.

Huo Lu, PhD, assistant professor, anatomy, published “Cerebellar nuclei neurons show only small excitatory responses to optogenetic olivary stimulation in transgenic mice: in vivo and in vitro studies,” in the journal Frontiers in Neural Circuits.

Sara (Mandy) Reese, PharmD, assistant professor, pharmacy practice; and Jennifer Elliott, PharmD, assistant professor, pharmacy practice, published “New Horizons: Basal Insulin,” in AADE in Practice.

Michael Selby, PhD, assistant professor, anatomy, published “Olecranon and trochlear notch orientation is related to extended limb postures during locomotion,” in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology.

Rangaiah Shashidharamurthy, PhD, assistant professor, pharmaceutical sciences, published “Microbiota-inducible Innate Immune, Siderophore Binding Protein Lipocalin 2 is Critical for Intestinal Homeostasis,” in the journal Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

David F. Simon, JD, chief legal affairs officer, served as a faculty member of the statewide Health Law Institute presented in Philadelphia by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and presented on "Emerging Issues in Accountable Care Organization Liability" and "P3N, HIE, HIO - Acronyms You Should Know - Electronic Health Information Exchange in Pennsylvania."

Brad Rosenfield, PsyD, assistant professor, psychology; Robert DiTomasso, PhD, professor and chair, psychology, and student Craig Strohmeier, (PsyD ’13) (primary author) published “Assessment of the relationship between self-reported cognitive distortions and adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness,” in Psychiatry Research 2016.

Sonia Thomas, PharmD, assistant professor, pharmacy practice, published “New and emerging therapies for Melanoma,” and “Lung cancer overview: Focus on newer therapies,” in U.S. Pharmacist.
