Student Information
Commencement

In the Office of Student Affairs, we have the distinct honor of walking with our students from orientation all the way through commencement. This is an important milestone in your professional careers and we could not be more proud of you.

Below is important information for graduates from all academic programs at our three locations.

Meet all graduation requirements
Apply to graduate
  • In order to graduate, you must complete the online application.
  • Verify your legal name to be printed on your diploma.
  • If your name has changed, you will need to update it with the Registrar Office and provide the appropriate information for it to be printed on your diploma.
  • For any questions regarding your application, please contact the Registrar Office at registrar@pcom.edu.
Complete program specific surveys
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) graduates on all campuses must complete the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) survey.
    • Additionally, PCOM Georgia DO graduates will need to complete the Georgia Workforce survey in front of the person giving you your regalia. This must be done on-site or you will not be able to pick up your regalia.
  • For Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates must complete this survey.
  • All other programs do not need to complete any additional surveys.
Order your regalia
  • All graduates are required to wear regalia to participate in the commencement ceremony.
  • Regalia consists of a tam, gown, tassel and hood.
  • Order your regalia in PCOM's Oak Hall online shop.
    • If you are a doctoral student and have an immediate family member hooding you during the ceremony, order their regalia separately via the guest hooders option after you have completed your order.
    • You should receive a link for guest hooders on the completion order screen or in your email inbox on your order confirmation email.
    • If you have any questions regarding your regalia, please contact Oak Hall directly at 1-800-223-0429.
