PCOM Opportunities Academy Kicks Off

On July 12, the College launched an innovative pipeline program, PCOM Opportunities Academy, to guide Hispanic high school and undergraduate-level students towards training
and careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math and medicine (STEM+M).
The Academy is at the heart of ongoing partnerships with ASPIRA Schools of Pennsylvania
and Esperanza, Inc., to build an interest in and awareness of STEM+M careers, in an
effort to address the lack of Hispanic health professionals.
