PCOM Works With 'Coolest' Firms on New Look and Feel
November 19, 2015
Two local companies, 160/90 and Seer Interactive, were recently named by Philadelphia magazine as two of the city’s “coolest companies,” noting their fresh ideas and innovative
approaches to marketing and website analytics, respectively.
PCOM has contracted with both of these in-demand companies for its completely overhauled
brand, as well as the new pcom.edu, which launched in late October.
For the past year, PCOM has worked closely with 160/90 to design a new brand for the
College—one that better solidifies its place as a leader in educating the most effective
and competent physicians and health care providers in this changing world of healthcare.
The new brand features bold design elements, colors and photography, along with a
philosophy that fully encompasses the many unique facets of the institution.
A billboard (pictured above) created to raise awareness of the College during the
historic Pope visit in Philadelphia incorporated many of those elements into its design
and garnered several mentions of the College on social media. That billboard was part
of the first phase of a rollout that includes digital signage, additional billboards,
and bus and radio advertisements.
In addition, Seer Interactive played a role in supporting the redesign of pcom.edu
by providing guidance and best practices related to website analytics (to best determine
the activities of visitors to the site) as well as implementation of those best practices.
Seer and PCOM will continue to work together on further metrics related to visitor
behavior and tracking opportunities. (For the actual look, feel and function of the
website, PCOM contracted with Paskill, Stapleton & Lord, a renowned marketing firm
specializing in higher education; previously, they worked on the development of PCOM’s
Admissions microsite.)
The new pcom.edu is far more user-friendly, with vastly improved layout and functionality,
and integration of high-quality video into the site. Questions or comments about the
new site can be emailed to: webteam@pcom.edu.
