Alfonso Arevalo, DO `17, resident, orthopedic surgery, co-authored “A Scoping Review of Injuries in Amateur and Professional Men's Ice Hockey,” which was published in the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine.

Molly Casey, DO `22, co-authored “Safety Gaps In Medical Team Communication: Closing The Loop On Quality Improvement Efforts In The Cardiac Catheterization Lab,” which was published in the journal Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions.

Anthony Concilla, DO `22, was first author of “The Dermatologist on Social Media: When the Pros Outweigh the Cons. Comment on "Risks and Benefits of Using Social Media in Dermatology: Cross-sectional Questionnaire Study" which was published in the journal JMIR Dermatology. He also co-authored “An Analysis of Skin of Color Content on TikTok,” which was also published in the journal JMIR Dermatology.

Tu Dang, research assistant and Xinyu (Eric) Wang, PhD, associate professor, pharmaceutical sciences, co-authored “Targeted Delivery of DNA Topoisomerase Inhibitor SN38 to Intracranial Tumors of Glioblastoma Using Sub-5 Ultrafine Iron Oxide Nanoparticles,” which was published in the journal Advanced Healthcare Materials.

Philip Fabrizio, PT, DPT, EdD, associate professor, physical therapy, co-authored “Effect Of Motivational Behaviors And Race/Ethnicity On Academic Success In Physical Therapy Students: A Preliminary Study,” which was published in the journal Anatomy (DergiPark).

Marya Ghazzi, DO `22, co-authored “Spinal Cord Injury Following Minimally Invasive Spinal Decompression,” which was published in the journal Interventional Pain Management Reports.

Grzegorz Gorski, MD, PhD, senior research technician, biochemistry and molecular biology; Jacquelyn Gerhart, MS, director, bioimaging facility; Mindy George-Weinstein, PhD, chief research and science officer; co-authored “Sustained Release of Antibody-Conjugated DNA Nanocarriers from a Novel Injectable Hydrogel for Targeted Cell Depletion to Treat Cataract Posterior Capsule Opacification,” which was published in the Journal of Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics.

John Malin (DO `23) co-authored “Complete Transcatheter Versus Complete Surgical Treatment In Patients With Aortic Valve Stenosis And Concomitant Coronary Artery Disease: Study-Level Meta-Analysis With Reconstructed Time-To-Event Data,” which was published in the Journal of Cardiac Surgery.
