Bettina Bernstein, DO, clinical assistant professor, psychiatric medicine, co-authored "Comparing and Contrasting
the Use of Problem-Based Learning in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Programs,” in
Academic Psychiatry : The Journal of the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric
Residency Training and the Association for Academic Psychiatry.
Skye Bickett, DHSc, instructor, library, served as chair of the Library and Information Science (LIS)
Section of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and is currently chair
of the Nominating Committee for the LIS Section. She also received a Doctor of Health
Science degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Carrie Collins, JD, chief advancement officer, presented a webinar entitled “Measuring Alumni Volunteerism”
for The Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
Walter Ehrenfeuchter, DO ’79, professor, OMM, taught a 40-hour course on the facilitated positional release manipulative technique
the Japanese Osteopathic Practice Association in May.
Jessica Kendorski, PhD, associate professor, psychology, will present during a session titled “Carrots Taste
Better Than Sticks—Positive Reinforcement for Behavior Change,” at the American Psychology
Association’s Annual Convention. David Festinger, PhD, professor, psychology, will chair the session.
Laura Levy, DHSc, professor and chair, PA studies, was the primary author on “Attitudes of Physician
Assistant Educators Toward Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care," in
the Journal of Physician Assistant Education.
Ali Moradi, MD, MPH, professor, medical humanities, was elected chair of the National Board of Osteopathic
Medical Examiners’ National Faculty.
